Skin rejuvenation treatment is one of our most required treatments since many people desire the restoration of skin to a healthier, more radiant appearance.
Due to the ageing process, our hyaluronic acid levels diminish and it is entirely normal for our skin to appear less hydrated and plumped.
Ulthera stimulate collagen production
Hifu is truly a remarkable breakthrough in technology, offering a truly non-invasive alternative to a surgical face lift, Collagen production is regenerated by the deposit of focused ultrasound energy deep beneath the skin at the optimal temperature. The treatment activates a natural process, known as neocollagenesis, which is the production of fresh, new collagen cells. Tissue at the target point is heated to ~65°C, Thermal Heat is created with the skin tissue creating both spaced ‘wounds’ and cellular friction – which in turn promotes healing, immediately contracts collagen and stimulates a rapid production. Over the next 90-180 days, the wound-healing response stimulates long-term tissue and leads to further lifting and tightening. There are no creams, fillers or toxins involved. This process simply depends on the body’s own collagen-building abilities to bring a more rapid turnover of cells, which helps the skin maintain its natural youthful glow.
The IPL Intense Pulsed Light device / Photofacial
Itself is gently pressed onto the skin, with a smooth, transparent surface emitting the light on the targeted areas. This light helps to spur on the production of collagen, which will help to fill in lines and wrinkles or shallow scarring, while also reducing redness, spots.
IPL uses short blasts of a polychromatic, high-intensity light to penetrate just below the skin’s surface, damaging the melanin that makes up “age spots” or the blood vessels that create broken capillaries. The skin repairs the damage, leaving you with a more even skin tone. IPL also boosts the production collagen and elastin.
Radio frequency
Produce an electric current using electromagnetic radiation falling within the frequency range of 3 to 300GHz. When this current passes through a tissue layer it produces heat. Skin rejuvenation occurs as a result of the thermal or heat damage to the dermis, the skin layer beneath the epidermis. Because it impedes the passing current more than most other tissue in the skin, the subcutaneous fat layer below the dermis generates greater amounts of heat and paves the way for deeper thermal effects.
Heating the dermis modifies the original properties of collagen fibers. They thicken and contract in response to the heat. This is what leads to immediately visible improvements. Heat also causes long-term collagen remodeling, which is how skin improvements and tightening continue a number of weeks after treatment. The inflammatory response of the skin to the wounds induced by heat leads to additional collagen synthesis as part of the healing process.
You are a candidate for radio frequency treatments if you desire any of the following:
- To lift the brows and tighten the skin on the forehead
- To thicken and tighten the skin under the eyes
- To lift the upper cheeks
- To lift (slightly) and diminish enlarged pores on the cheeks and mid-face
- To reduce jowls and sagging along the jaw line
- To tighten skin and diminish wrinkling on the neck
